About Me
Misiona Patane brings more than 15 years’ experience in business and operational management to his present role as Business Development Manager of Pure Pasifika, Ltd.. At this Samoa-based company, which exports Noni products, he drives strategic initiatives that improve the company’s sales performance in the United States. A longtime resident of Salt Lake City, Utah, Mr. Patane has proven his leadership skills in a number of senior-level positions. Prior to joining Pasifika, he served as Director of Operations for AMT Group Services, where he worked closely with the United States Armed Forces on a variety of projects. Misiona Patane also worked for several years as the Project Manager of a Florida-based investment group, providing strategic planning and organization to meet the firm’s profit goals.
To prepare for his career in business, Misiona Patane studied at Brigham Young University, where he earned both an undergraduate degree in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration. He focused particularly on information management and international relations, completing an internship with the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C.. Upon graduation, Mr. Patane became an Implementation Consultant for Net Gateway, where he developed and managed e-commerce technologies systems. Subsequently, Mr. Patane was appointed Project Manager at North Systems, where he made use of his technical and consultative expertise to oversee the implementation of e-business applications for Fortune 500 businesses.
In his philanthropic pursuits, Misiona Patane supports causes that provide for children of Samoa, as well as charities dedicated to helping the elderly. In his free time, he enjoys following sports and listening to music. He also has a keen interest in political issues.
